VIT's centering drill (Spott!™) has the capability to nest the "point" of any
standard angle drill (up to 140 deg) within the drill size range of three-sixteenths inch
(3/16") through three inch (3") diameters. This is achieved by the unique
144 deg included angle insert (designed and developed by VIT). T his angle allows for the
actual point or tip of a drill to nest at the bottom-most point of the cavity left by the
Spott!™centering
drill, thus improving repeatability and positional accuracy. One insert angle and
grade covers a wide range of materials, with minor adjustments to SFM and IPR.
